FINALLY! A new episode is posted! It has been a very long time since my last episode was posted, and first of all, I do apologize for that. This was an exciting episode to record. Not only did I drink, dissect and enjoy some great beers, I had the pleasure to talking with Aaron, the owner of Goat Throne Records. We conducted an interview about his label, some of the bands on his roster, and about Craft Beer.
Finally, after a long wait, The Beer Metal Show is back, and gives you a Craft Beer & Metal packed episode! This episode is dedicated to the life of Bruce Corbitt from RIGOR MORTIS & WARBEAST. He was a friend, and a true Metal Warrior! This episode is a celebration of the amazing music he was a part of. I also drank some great beers during this recording.
Check out my 2018 Year in Beer according to the Untappd App. This is a recap episode of my Craft Beer shenanigans from last year. Check it out, and listen to me bitch and complain. I actually had a lot of fun recording this episode.
Welcome to episode 19, which is entitled Street Drinker. On this episode, Aaron The BeerMetalDude sits down with Joaquin Pena, the Co-Owner/Brewmaster of the newest San Antonio, TX brewery, Islla St. Brewing Company. We sat down within their tap room during business hours, so expect to hear some interesting music in the background. During the interview we discuss their beginning stages, all the way to their future plans, and a whole bunch of other shit including music, and so much more. Listen in, and get familiar with Islla St. Brewing Company.
THE BEER METAL SHOW turns 1 years old! Join me (The BeerMetalDude), and my special guest Co-Host, Alex Arredondo of I Fucking Love San Antonio Podcast. We drank and dissected four different Texas Independent Craft Beers. I then paired each beer with amazing Metal songs. This episode is entitled I Drink with Wrath, named after the song “I Strike with Wrath” by the Black/Death Metal band, NECROPHOBIC.
We’re back, mother fuckers! Yes, we are still alive and kicking. Welcome to episode 17, Beerfest in the Deep. On this episode, we were at the San Antonio Beer Festival, which took place on Saturday, October 20th, 2018. We walked around with our handheld digital recorder and spoke to some of the industry people who were there at the festival. Originally, this was going to be a 3-4 part episode, but we did not get to talk to everybody as originally planned, and after the edits were made, I was able to put together this less than an hour long episode. After adding the Metal music, it pushed the episode to over an hour long. We really hope you enjoy this episode, as much as we enjoyed recording it.
