Welcome to the first episode of 2023 of The Beer Metal Show Podcast. After much delay, I welcome you to episode #49. This one is titled “Confessions of a Serial Drinker” This is a play on words to the song Confessions of a Serial Killer by our featured band for this this episode, GOREFEST. I will take you through their entire career and play my favorite tracks from each of their full-length albums. This one was tough, as I am not a fan of every album they put out in their career, but the show must go on, so we all have to sit through a few pretty rough tracks today. I also drink and dissect 4 amazing beers from Eureka Heights Brew Co. from Houston, TX, Jester King Brewery from Austin, TX, No Label Brewing Co. from Katy, TX, and Saint Arnold Brewing Co. from Houston, TX. Each beer gets a great Metal Connection pairing. I also give you my thoughts on the MERCYFUL FATE concert I attended in Dallas, TX and a play by play of my birthday Houston brewery tour. BeerMetalShow 35 | Desolate Path to Apocalyptic Craft Beer

Welcome to episode 35, Desolate Path to Apocalyptic Craft Beer! On this episode I drank and dissected 4 Craft Beers from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Lakewood Brewing Company, Hop & Sting Brewing Company and Künstler Brewing.As I usually do, the episode’s title is a play on words to a Metal song. In this case, the song is Desolate Path to Apocalyptic Craft Beer by the Black/Death/Thrash Metal band, Goatwhore. This was a very fun episode to put together. All the beers were excellent, and I really think the songs played on this one are fuckin’ bad ass. I really hope you all enjoy episode 35.

BeerMetalShow 10 | Haze is Just a Four Letter Word

We have made it to episode #10 without #1, killing each other, and #2, giving up! On this week’s episode we decided to change up a bit and do a whole new format. We invited some San Antonio Craft Beer veterans for a discussion about the latest beer trends. It was our pleasure to have Blake Murrah (former HEB Grocery Beer Dept., former Southern Star Brewing Company Sales Rep), and Jeremy Banas (known for being a published writer and contributor to some well known beer magazines/websites). Mostly we give our opinions on the Haze Craze! We talk about Hazy IPA’s, NEIPA’s, Pastry Stouts, Glitter Beer, and all the other stupid new trends that are out there!
