I.C.F.T.C. Mini Episode 18

New year, who dis? Welcome all to the 1st episode of 2024. It just so happens to be a new It Came from the Cellar show. For this episode I drink and dissect a beer that is around 8 years old. Despertado en Manzanilla, a Wild Ale with chamomile brewed by a local San Antonio brewery, Freetail Brewing Company.  Actually, it’s a lot more complicated than that. Please listen to the episode to get the full details of this crazy one-off beer from 2015. I pair this amazing beer with an equally amazing song from a local San Antonio band, Haunter. You definitely don’t want to miss that! For the Fright Feature Report segment, I take a trip back to 1995 as I watched and reviewed the movie The Fear. Remember that one? If not, check out my breakdown and review of this flick.

ep53top.jpg

Hails Beer Metal Warriors! Thanks for tuning into another exciting episode of The Beer Metal Show Podcast. This is episode 53 entitled We Damn the Beer. Named after the song “We Damn the Night” by our featured band HELLOWEEN. This is part 2 of the HELLOWEEN story. I start with their album The Dark Ride, released in 2000, and go all the way to their most current, their self-titled album, released in 2021. We got some real bangers on this one! I also drink and dissect 4 amazing beverages from some of the best breweries in Texas. I drink DTX by Deep Ellum Brewing Company, Coconut Hefen-A by Galveston Island Brewing Company, La Tuna Wheat by Cactus Land Brewing Company, and a Peach Pomegranate Hard Seltzer by Real Ale Brewing Company. I hope you enjoy the episode. Please don’t forget to leave a review or rating on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen to the show. Cheers!
